If you are an ex-cyclist or a born-again cyclist then this group is for you. We usually go out twice a month, reducing to once a month from November to February. We sometimes start locally but often meet at a venue generally up to twenty miles radius from Wells riding the lanes of that area for up to 30 miles (sometimes more). There's always a coffee stop and lunch break to socialise and to replenish energy levels.
Each active member may be asked to organise and lead at least one run throughout the year; so the more members, the fewer runs an individual has to organise and the more variety we have. The dates and ride organisers are published in the annual programme (see the links below) and ride instructions go out a week beforehand. On Thursdays when there isn't a Group Ride, members make their own way to a café to meet up for a coffee and chat.
