Upcoming Talks
9 Sept 2026
Chris Kelly from Wedmore
Introduction
Chris has been interested in history since he was a boy of 13, and discovered a couple of books about Julius Caesar. His interest has increased over the years and he has quite a collection of facts on the Roman Empire.
In his talk, he will be focusing on the more unusual aspects of their achievements and he promises that his talk will be an eye-opener!
Chris’ talk will be illustrated by some very interesting slides, and followed by questions from the floor.
He is a mine of information, so this will be the time to find out whether those half remembered facts are actually correct!.
These talks are always popular, so please try to arrive in good time. Tea and coffee will be served from 10.30 am, and the talk will begin promptly at 11.00
