GROUP CYCLE RIDES  The dates usually fall on the 2nd and/or 4th Thursdays of the month. However the date of a ride may be changed due to, for example, bad weather. The rides are typically 25 to 30 miles and usually include a morning stop for coffee and a lunch stop. Provisional starting points are listed but these may be updated. Local runs start at Lidl, Wells, unless advised otherwise. Away meets are to be advised by the run leader.
All active group members may be asked to organise a ride and will be given several weeks’ notice. Each ride organiser should let the group leader have the details about a week before the scheduled date and these will then be circulated by email and posted on the group’s website. The ride organiser must have the groups individual ICE (in case of emergency) details to hand either on mobile or a paper copy when on the ride.  Also it is advisable for the ride leader or someone on the ride to carry a small first aid kit.

CAFÉ MEETS  On Thursdays when there is not a Group Ride, members are invited to make their own way, preferably by bike, to a café to meet up with others of the group, arriving around 10:30 am ( * or 11:00 am for those further away). The arrangement is casual; many, few or none might turn up and there is no designated leader.
