The Making Music group has up to twenty members, who meet twice a month to play a variety of music on a variety of acoustic instruments. Some familiarity with your instrument, and a degree of ability to read music is helpful, but we are a supportive group and can help improvers. We work from scores, both in books and self-printed, mainly but not exclusively from the folk tradition. We have been known to give the occasional public performance.
