The Badminton Group continues to meet twice a week throughout the year with very few interruptions, so there are lots of opportunities to play. We don’t meet on Good Friday, over the Christmas period and on the night of the Wells Carnival, so you are allowed to relax at those times. Although we continue to play during the summer months, our schedule is affected by GCSE exams.

For the most part we play doubles, mens’, ladies’ or mixed as appropriate. That means there is usually someone with whom to share the blame or even the celebration of an occasional victory. Our range of ability varies considerably, although virtually all of us have improved noticeably since coming to play with the group. So don’t be afraid to come along, give yourself the opportunity for some light exercise in pleasant company and perhaps develop your skill set.
