Based in the beautiful city of Wells, Somerset, our u3a offers retired and semi-retired people a chance to come together and learn, sharing skills, life experiences and enjoying social events.

The model of u3a, a mutual aid organisation, is reflected in our groups, of which there are over fifty. A sample of these include badminton, walking, wine appreciation and geology to current affairs and pétanque, all arranged by the members for each other’s enjoyment, fun and learning. u3a promotes positive age enhancing involvement.
